Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do with ColdEngine, operated by Strenor Labs LLC. It exists to keep the platform safe, to protect recipients, and to preserve deliverability for all of our customers. By using ColdEngine you agree to this AUP, which forms part of our Terms of Service.
Send only with a lawful basis
You must have a legitimate reason to contact each recipient (for example a genuine business interest relevant to them, or their prior consent where the law requires it). You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws in the jurisdictions you and your recipients are in, including the US CAN-SPAM Act, Canada's CASL, and the EU/UK GDPR and ePrivacy rules.
Always identify yourself honestly
Every message must use accurate header information and a truthful 'From' name and address, must not use deceptive or misleading subject lines, and must include a valid physical postal address for the sender. Impersonating another person, brand or organisation is strictly prohibited.
Honour opt-outs
Every message sent through ColdEngine includes a working one-click unsubscribe link (RFC 8058 List-Unsubscribe). You must promptly stop contacting anyone who opts out and must never remove, hide, or disable the unsubscribe mechanism. Recipients who unsubscribe are added to your block list automatically.
Prohibited content
You may not use ColdEngine to send or promote: spam or unsolicited bulk mail to purchased or scraped lists gathered without a lawful basis; phishing, fraud, scams, or deceptive 'get rich quick' schemes; malware, viruses, or malicious links; content that is hateful, harassing, defamatory, or that incites violence; sexually explicit or child-exploitative material; or the sale of illegal goods or services.
Prohibited industries and use cases
ColdEngine may not be used for: pump-and-dump or cryptocurrency/investment scams; illegal gambling; illegal pharmaceuticals or controlled substances; pirated content; multi-level-marketing spam; or any activity that is illegal where you or your recipients are located. We may decline or terminate service for use cases that create disproportionate abuse or deliverability risk.
Protect deliverability
You must not use the platform in ways that endanger shared or individual sending reputation, including sending to stale or low-quality lists, deliberately evading spam filters, or ignoring high bounce and complaint rates. We provide warmup and deliverability tools; using them responsibly is part of using the service.
No platform abuse
You may not attempt to breach or circumvent our security or rate limits, access another customer's workspace, scrape or reverse-engineer the platform, resell access without authorisation, or use the service to build a competing product.
Monitoring and enforcement
We monitor for abnormal spam complaints, bounce rates, and abuse reports. If we believe an account violates this AUP we may, depending on severity, warn you, throttle or pause sending, suspend the account, or terminate it. Serious or illegal abuse may be reported to the relevant authorities. We aim to act proportionately and, where appropriate, to give you a chance to fix the problem first.

If you received an email sent through ColdEngine that you believe violates this policy, please report it to support@coldengine.io so we can investigate.
